Kirkpatrick Realty is one of the oldest real estate offices in the Frio Canyon.  In 1973, Bette Kirkpatrick opened the business at the corner of Third and Market streets in downtown Leakey, Texas.  It was her desire to sell this beautiful land that she has so much enjoyed.  Her primary interest was to sell ranch land and Frio River frontage.  Because of the demand for this type of property, her business experienced great success.  As the larger ranches were developed into subdivisions, Kirkpatrick Realty began to sell more property than ever.  The community of Leakey began to see a growth and that growth trend continues to this day.
